Irads mounts yesterday had 2 winners from 8 one by Johnny V , the other Jose Ortiz his bro, both strong favorites 4/5 and 1/1. However, no other in the money finishes with 2 other favorites, 2 second choices, 2 mid favorites, Javier C. luis Saez, Flavian Prat got the other mounts and showed troubled bump trips for all. Irad is the best in NY and he would of had 13 mounts today. I would pay attention to Jonny V and Jose Ortiz getting his mounts today. Comments welcome.

Trainers are scrambling to replace Ortiz. Todd Pletcher had him on eight of his horses, including Florida Derby winner Known Agenda in the Belmont. Pletcher told HRN on Friday morning that he did not expect to have a new rider named before Saturday.
